Just placed my order at KnitPicks for the yarn for my Next Big Project. Phew! I don't like ordering online; I miss the actual tactile shopping experience. I needed the right amount of specific colours though, so I went for it. The price is pretty good, but without an American address I have to pay for shipping AND duty. And it can take anywhere from 5-14 days. This is going to take some seriously dedicated knitting to get it done by June 16th, so I hope the delivery errs on the side of speedy!
I've ALSO got a queue full of baby things because friends of ours have a baby on the way! Eeeee! I get to knit baby things without having a baby myself! Excellent! Baby things are SO cute. Just look!

I am so excited. This baby is going to be a nerd from the outset. And I will probably send it home with something newly-knit every time I babysit.
Babies: awesome, especially when you're not the one having them.
